» gaia rowntree;
(ffxiv:heavensward)
Paladin. Dark Knight. Scion of the Seventh Dawn. Warrior of Light. Gaia is a brave, caring soul with a 'Big Damn Hero' complex so large it's gotten her into almost more trouble than it's worth.

Almost. She did, after all, meet her best friends by saving them.

» raneilin;
(oc)
On the run from her family for stealing an artifact of significant historical importance, Raneilin ran to the surface hoping to disappear in the crowds. She now lives a quiet but satisfying life as an adventurer, testing her skills as a swordmage and earning just enough coin to get by until the day a half-elf rogue picked her pocket.

In full view of a dwarven paladin.

Though outwardly quiet, slightly paranoid, and difficult to approach, she shows a different side of herself when talking about swords, magic, magical theory, enchanting - I think you get the picture. If you manage to gain her trust, then you have it for life.

» terra;
(kingdom hearts au)
THIS IS YOUR BLURB ABOUT THE CR/MUSE. TYPE WHAT YOU WANT, USE SYMBOLS, WHATEVER.

» terra;
(kingdom hearts; currently @ kyriakos)
A young man in training to become a Keyblade Master. He and his fellow pupils Aqua and Ventus share a healthy rivalry and strong bond of friendship.

Though he is aware of the darkness in his heart, Terra refuses to accept it--and Master Xehanort's suggestions that it might be controlled have only deepened his quandary.

» alisaie leveilleur
(ffxiv:a realm reborn)
Granddaughter of the late Louisoix Leveiller, she and her twin brother Alphinaud journeyed to Eorzea 5 years after the release of the elder primal Bahamut (known as the Calamity) that brought about the 7th Umbral Era. Being the more visibly passionate of the pair, she disagreed with the methods her brother chose to try and help the land and people heal from the wounds caused by the Calamity and thus chose to search for a more direct method of 'curing what ails this land.' Her quest leads her to fragments of Dalamud buried deep within the crust of Eorzea, and a terrible secret within.

She is headstrong and more often prone to rash actions than her more diplomatic brother. However, like her brother, she is highly intelligent, resourceful, and determined to see her chosen course to the end - for though the path may differ from her brother's, the final destination of an Eorzea whole and healed from the wounds inflicted by the Calamity remains the same.

» evelyn trevelyan;
(dragon age:inquisition)
Born to the noble Trevelyan family in the city-state of Ostwick, she was sent to a life of study and seclusion at the Circle of Magi. After surviving an explosion that ruined the last chance for peaceful resolution in the conflict between Mages and Templars, tore a hole in the sky, and left a strange glowing mark on her hand, she has been thrust into a position of leadership in the re-formed Inquisition, which seeks to close said giant hole, prevent further deterioration of the current conflict, and hopefully stop new ones from arising.

Oh, and she's now known as the Herald of Andraste. Are you sure there isn't someone more qualified for this?

» revan;
(star wars: knights of the old republic)
Taren Thorne, former soldier of the Republic and newly-initiated Jedi padawan, is unaware of the fact that he is the former leader of the invading Sith, army and of how closely he is being watched by the Jedi to be sure he doesn't go Dark again. As far as he is concerned, his biggest problem involves finding something called a 'Star Forge' and destroying it to end the threat brought by Darth Malak, and prevent the destruction of any more worlds.

No one told him that he would have to play peacekeeper for his very eclectic crew, or that he would start to fall in love with a fellow Jedi.

The following letters have been left to the residents of the Castle of Departure

To Everyone:

If you're reading this, I'm sorry. I know that a lot of us have gone home in the past few weeks. As much as I wanted to stay and not tear open the wound further, I realized that I couldn't put it off any longer.

I'm back home now, though a few of you will wish I weren't. I wish I weren't, either, but... it had to be done.

Fate won't be kind to me, now that I'm home. But... I'm tired of running. I realized not too long ago that if you're afraid of something, that fear will consume you. If I face it... I might be able to beat it, however long that takes me.

I'm sorry. But even though we're separated, we're never truly apart. Not as long as our hearts connect us.

Stay safe,
- Terra

Xehanort;

I know that this isn't fair, especially to you. I can't apologize enough for this; for leaving without saying good-bye.

If you ever want to talk, for any reason, look inside yourself. I might be sealed away, trying to keep you and I from being erased from existence, but I'm still there.

I hope that some day, I can come back to this place, and we can speak face to face again. I might regret a lot of things about the day that brought you into existence... but I won't regret knowing you.

I won't say good-bye, because I'm sure our paths will cross again.

- Terra

PS - Could you keep those books in my room for me, just in case? Thanks.
ultimacanon: (Run like hell)

Greetings! If you are here, that means you are Riku and are probably wondering what to do with your new Terra-shaped body. Well, be at ease, because this simple, easy-to-follow guide will tell you everything you need to know about being Terra!

First of all, DON'T PANIC. One must try to keep their cool when getting used to Terra's power levels and abilities. He has a natural affinity with Earth-based magic, and while Terra himself has not had an accidental case of causing an earthquake in several years, a person with far less control over their magic will likely set off some kind of powerful spell should they have a panic attack or lose their temper.

Once you have calmed down, you should be quick to note that Terra's heart is really in pitiful shape for a Keybearer, let alone a Master like him. It has all the hallmarks of a forced possession and merger with a parasite of a Heart and a forced separation of said two Hearts-- a tattered memory chain that, while in better condition than it once was, is barely keeping what makes Terra 'Terra' intact.

Upon closer inspection, one can note the presence of yet another Heart; do not be alarmed. This is the Heart of Terra's mentor and father figure, Eraqus, who met a rather unfortunate end courtesy of Xehanort's machinations. Eraqus's Heart went on to rest inside of Terra's, who kept it safe after Xehanort claimed the young Keybearer as his first vessel. Now it is what is supporting Terra's own Heart as it heals; best to leave him be.

Because of the presence of Eraqus in Terra's Heart, you are now capable of wielding not one, but two powerful Keyblades; both Ends of the Earth and Stormfall will answer your call should the need arise. Well, they would-- if you could get his Heart to cooperate.

See, being possessed by The Universe's Ultimate Bastard for a staggering length of ten years have left his Heart really hesitant to let another person have control over the body it rightfully belongs to. Expect some resistance when trying to access and control Terra's abilities.

What are these abilities, you might ask? Well, Terra himself will be happy to tell you! A quick run-down of the important things, however, are as follows:

  • Corridors of Darkness - don't want to travel the stairs? No problem!
  • Capable of summoning The Ethereal Blades; though why would you want to...?
  • Can call two Keyblades!
  • Magic. Powerful magic. Not as varied as Aqua's, but when you can drop a meteor on someone's head, you don't need variety.
  • Shotlocks - please don't use these indoors. Ultima Cannon has one hell of a kickback.
  • Command Styles - Kind of like a limit break, except you can choose when to go into them. Also, variety.
  • Dimension Links - these don't see much use, so you don't have to worry about them.

Because of the memory bleed-over that will happen as a side-effect of the trading of real estate, you can expect to see any number of things from Terra's fragmented memory.

Day 1 - Daily happenings in the tower, primarily.
Day 2 - The Realm of Darkness, the Chamber of Repose, Destiny Islands, the Land of Departure
Day 3 - The Mark of Mastery Exam, the Keyblade Graveyard battle, the Secret Episode battle, Eraqus's Death
Day 4 - This is where Terra's memories start to replace your own. Things will get confusing.
Day 5 - Are you Riku or are you Terra? If the swap hasn't been reversed by this day, then there will be mutual identity confusion on both ends.
